The GBS Organization provides services to the Booking Holdings Brands, which consist of Enterprise Program and Change Management, Process Excellence, and Global Process Ownership, to name a few. The GBS Organization is seeking a Program Manager to join their Enterprise Project Management team.
This role is pivotal in driving strategic initiatives, acting as a trusted partner to executives and stakeholders. The individual will be responsible for translating high-level vision into actionable implementation plans, proactively identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring successful execution through expert coordination and communication. This includes presenting program progress and strategic insights to executive leadership to inform decision-making and foster alignment.
This role will be responsible for project management, directly impacting the delivery and execution of various strategic programs and solution deployments underpinning this transformation, by ensuring that projects are clearly defined (scope, time, cost, and resources), tracked and controlled through their lifecycle, and appropriately reported and communicated per existing governance processes. Additional responsibilities may include facilitating Finance process design workshops to identify current state issues and future state objectives.
Experience with transitioning decentralized finance and accounting activities from various geographical locations into a shared service center is a plus.
Key Responsibilities
Project Manage and Articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely, both verbally and in writing, to a variety of audiences, from technical teams to C-suite executives.
Influence decisions and gain buy-in from stakeholders without direct authority.
Lead group discussions, workshops, and meetings to drive consensus and collaborative problem-solving.
Demonstrate capacity to see the big picture, connect disparate ideas, and translate high-level business goals into actionable plans, including anticipating future challenges and opportunities.
Possess superior strategic thinking and analytical capabilities, with a proven ability to translate complex business problems into actionable strategic solutions.
Exhibit exceptional leadership, influence, and negotiation skills, with the ability to drive consensus across diverse stakeholder groups.
