Job description

ABOUT BASETEN

Baseten powers mission-critical inference for the world's most dynamic AI companies, like Cursor, Notion, OpenEvidence, Abridge, Clay, Gamma and Writer. By uniting applied AI research, flexible infrastructure, and seamless developer tooling, we enable companies operating at the frontier of AI to bring cutting-edge models into production. We're growing quickly and recently raised our $300M Series E, backed by investors including BOND, IVP, Spark Capital, Greylock, and Conviction. Join us and help build the platform engineers turn to to ship AI products.

THE ROLE

You'll join a small team at Baseten revamping our model library with a focus on helping developers discover, evaluate, and select the right models for their specific use cases. This is a founding role on a new initiative — you'll help shape the ecosystem from both sides, onboarding new models, and educating developers to adopt them effectively.

This isn't a traditional DevRel or content role. You'll operate at the intersection of technical depth, community building, and product thinking — creating the guides, evaluations, and educational content that help developers move past the assumption that bigger, more expensive models are always better. The model landscape is becoming increasingly specialized, and you'll help developers navigate it.
