We are looking for a Project Engineer to enhance their technical and program management skills by leading integrated product teams that deliver electro-optical (EO) focal plane subsystems. This position is a creative and dynamic job opportunity where you’ll work on a broad range of technologies, including ultraviolet, visible, near-infrared, short-wave infrared, mid-wave infrared, and long-wave infrared focal plane architectures. Your focal plane subsystems will enable space payloads to meet mission requirements across Civil, Defense, and Military applications.
This position is for a Focal Plane Subsystem Project Engineer and will report to the Detector Technology Center of the Payload Engineering department within the Engineering, Science and Analysis (ESA) Strategic Capabilities Unit of BAE Systems Space and Missions Systems (SMS).

What You’ll Do:
- Integrate project scope, schedule, and budget to execute the focal plane subsystem work products within a space payload program. Report metrics that assess the project's overall performance and progress to both the program and functional leadership.
