Job description
from Apple careersAt Apple, we don’t just build great products — we create a kind of wonder that revolutionizes entire industries. It’s the diversity of our people and their ideas driving the innovation in everything we do, from amazing technology to industry-leading environmental efforts. Join Apple and help us leave the world better than we found it.
Apple News and News+ bring world-class journalism, magazines, puzzles, food content, audio, and more to millions of readers every day. We're looking for a strategic, business-minded operator to own the feature perspective across Apple News and News+ — connecting product investment to subscriber growth and revenue outcomes.
In this role, you'll serve as the business lead across a portfolio of user-facing features, working closely with Product, Engineering, Finance, Marketing, and partner teams. You'll bring clarity to complex trade-offs, develop well-framed opportunities for prioritization, and ensure every team working on News+ understands how their work contributes to the business.

Minimum Qualifications
8–10 years of experience in growth strategy, business operations, or adjacent roles at a consumer technology or media company
Strong familiarity with subscription business models, including growth levers, engagement metrics, and content-driven retention
Experience developing business cases, financial models, and performance narratives for executive audiences
Proven track record of translating qualitative and quantitative signals into clear, actionable recommendations

Preferred Qualifications
Strong product sense with the ability to identify and gain support for new feature opportunities
Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and influence without authority across Product, Engineering, Finance, and partner teams
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; highly organized, action-oriented, and comfortable navigating ambiguity
Experience in subscription media, publishing, or consumer services preferred
Comfort working across time zones and collaborating with geographically distributed teams
Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and adapt quickly to shifting priorities
MBA preferred
