Join our dynamic Product Operations team. We lead the Operations technical teams during the development of the next generation products. As the technical lead for a product line, you will partner closely with multi disciplinary teams during all phases of development to enable product success.
In this position, you will have responsibility for products prior to launch, with the goal of enabling strong quality during the development cycle. This position partners with engineering, product development, reliability engineering operations, AppleCare, and component teams. Strong Quality engineering skills in technical, statistical knowledge, Failure analysis, Exec presentations, and program management experience are essential.
To be a successful team member within Product Operations you will partner with the Operations technical team (DFx, DFm, Test, SQE, PQE and others) during product development and high volume production. As a technical advisor for the product line, you will partner closely with Engineering throughout the lifecycle of development to enable operational success through to mass production.
<h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3>BS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
5+ years of experience is Quality Engineering in a Manufacturing setting
<h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3>MS in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial Engineering or equivalent
Laser-focused on the smallest details and able to use data forensics to solve complex manufacturing assembly quality issues
Proven experience in one or more of the following subject areas: New Product Introduction / Design Engineering / Manufacturing Operations consumer electronics
Good understanding of electronic assembly processes
Solid understanding of statistical analysis and production control processes
Knowledgeable in data analysis and interpretation ; Tableau scripting and JMP scripting knowledge is preferred
Experience partnering with international contract manufacturers in mass production; experience traveling to manufacturing sites
Must be a self starter with innovation, integrity, and attention to detail
Outstanding communications skills
