The WW Apple Retail Engagement, Marketing & Merchandising (REMM) team defines, makes and delivers programs, campaigns, initiatives and experiences that help Apple Retail’s customers and teams discover, be inspired by, learn about and go further with Apple’s products and services, and does so in a manner that is true to our values.
Are you a multi skilled creative, editor, and motion designer? Do you thrive in a fast paced team setting and excel in a post production role?
We are looking for innovative video experts to be at the forefront of shaping our Retail content on digital platforms in China, turning concepts & ideas into tangible realities and exploring new technologies to create remarkable experiences for our customers and teams.
This role will be a part of the REMM Retail Content Studio in China, reporting to the Content Studio Lead, creating best-in-class content across the China and APAC region.
A creative with deep expertise in post production craft who leads edit, design, and motion through collaboration across all stages of the creative and making process, from concept development, production, and final delivery.
You thrive creating short-form content, films, sizzles, campaign assets, and have extensive experience creating and optimizing content for social media.
You are very familiar working in quick-turn environments with tight schedules and are extremely savvy with the technical nuances of your craft, including implementing AI assisted workflows for different stages of the making process.
<h3>Minimum Qualifications</h3>8+ years of experience creating social-first content, as an editor and motion designer
Portfolio demonstrating strong principals of design, editing, animation, typography, and visual communication
Examples of work showing evidence of having carried projects from concept through to finished, published work
Experience creating natively for Chinese social and retail platforms (e.g., Douyin, WeChat Channels, Xiaohongshu)
Fluency across industry standard creative tools and applications with comfort integrating AI-assisted workflows into a fast-moving production environment
Proven ability to move fast, creating on short timelines while upholding Apple's craft standards
Mandarin and English fluency, written and spoken
<h3>Preferred Qualifications</h3>Experience both working in house with a team, and creative agencies
Ability to balancing strategic thinking with high-level craft
Proven ability to translate complex messaging or concepts into clear, compelling work that resonates with audiences
A relentless focus on the user, ensuring all creative decisions are guided by a deep understanding of their needs, desires, and aspirations
A strong design aesthetic, reflected in a clear understanding of Apple's brand values and commitment to excellence
