Intern, Test Systems Development

ADI is seeking an ATE Semiconductor Test Engineering Intern to gain hands-on experience supporting products through their full life cycle. The assignment will have a focus on Automotive Power, LED Lighting or USB integrated circuits. Applicant must be goal oriented, self-driven, have high professional standards and be able to work individually or as part of a team.

Duties will include: Helping test engineers in the development of automated test system solutions on analog and mixed-signal volume production automatic testers. Involvement in all phases of semiconductor development including design for testability, test hardware (PCB) and software design, debug, characterization, and release to manufacturing. Responsible for completing, documenting and tracking project schedules and communicating the results.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor/Master of Science degree program in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering or similar.
  • Strong programming skills. Experience with C, C++ or VBA is preferred.
  • Component-level circuit design skills.
  • Good hardware and software trouble-shooting skills.
  • Understanding of statistical methods and data analysis tools.
  • Experience with lab equipment including Oscilloscope, Power Supplies, and DVM. Soldering skills a plus.
