THE ROLE:

Join AMD’s team of highly skilled engineers in managing the manufacturing operations for our leading-edge AI and Data Center Graphics products. Our Asia Base operations gives Engineer exposure to multiple AMD product development, design and manufacturing operations team, and will give this engineer the ability to have a major impact in product development and enablement, yield improvement and drive revenue for years to come. THE PERSON:

This position requires the candidate with good interpersonal & communication skills, and he (or she) is capable to work independently and work with other groups to provide solutions or workaround to quickly mitigate the production risk. It is highly required the knowledge of statistical analysis and the candidate must be proficient in both spoken and written English and Chinese.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage the flawless test and process execution by introducing new AI and Data Center Graphics products and their ramp to volume production in manufacturing partners.
• Lead sustaining yield activities which include driving product performance and margin improvement by working closely with our operations and development teams.
• Manage product yield dedication, engineering activities during the product development stage including design validation, performance, characterization, qualification and release to production.
• Lead multi-functional teams and maintain committed schedules on multiple projects while collaborating with other engineering functions & different levels of management.
• Work with the Manufacturing, Design, Quality, and Failure Analysis teams in the disposition of product excursions and manage cases through a material review board.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:

• 5~10 years’ experience in product engineering and manufacturing.
• Good at yield analysis and improvement.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and writing in English.
• Ability to work with global team to meet KPIs, deliver efficient and effective results.
• Detailed understanding of device physics and semiconductor processing for sophisticated and leading technology nodes.

ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS:

• Bachelor's degree or above in Electronics / Electrical Engineering or equivalent field.
