from Amazon careersAn Indian subsidiary of Amazon.com, (a US based MNC) in the payments business, has an exciting opening for a smart, young candidates for the role of “Associate Corporate Counsel”, with 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in implementing privacy and data protection requirements, experience in technology law and providing related legal advisory. The position is based in Bangalore and is for a fixed term of 3 years. The ACC will report to a Corporate Counsel / Senior Corporate Counsel position. The Attorney will partner with cross functional legal team and their business operations clients to achieve operational excellence, advise on a range of issues to ensure compliance with applicable regulations, including corporate secretarial compliance, drafting and negotiating contracts. The attorney will also be responsible for project management and documentation of various ongoing privacy initiatives, including coordination with various internal teams, alignment with global teams, implementing various requirements. The role also involves close collaboration with business, product, technology, legal team. The Attorney must have excellent written and oral communication skills as this position involves direct contact with principal business owners.
