Amazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to customers around the world. The Amazon Leo North America Consumer team is looking for a talented individual to manage the Mexico growth strategy. This role is responsible for subscriber acquisition and P&L management. You will have a high degree of ownership as you acquire new subscribers, scale growth opportunities, and manage overall business performance. You will work closely with Product, Sales, Marketing, Operations, Finance, Legal, and more. A successful candidate will be both entrepreneurial and highly analytical, able to work effectively in a matrixed organization, and adept at understanding how subscription businesses work in Mexico. We are looking for someone customer obsessed and technology savvy with a proven track record of leading new initiatives and launching consumer businesses at scale. You will be a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment—all while ensuring we’re optimizing for the ideal customer experience and balancing business financials.

Key job responsibilities
• Develop and optimize the demand generation strategies and plans across all sales channels to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual gross adds, revenue, and profitability targets.
• Analyze and leverage industry research, data, and customer trends to define Mexico pricing strategies that maximize customer adoption, while balancing supply, subscriber economics, and enterprise value
• Develop and execute on the promotion strategy across all sales channels, including temporary price reductions, introductory price offers, consumer incentives, and high volume events (i.e., Prime Day)
• Partner with marketing, merchandising, sales, business development, and customer support channel owners to maximize placements, enable a more productive sales funnel, and maintain a cohesive subscriber acquisition strategy across all sales channels and customer-facing touchpoints
• Track and report on subscriber acquisition trends, business performance, variance to plan, and corrective actions as part of weekly, monthly, and quarterly business reviews
• Deliver insightful business analyses, financial models, and comprehensive, written strategy documents considering different types of data and inputs across a broad range of stakeholders
• Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills to build relationships with cross functional teams to influence global business management and foster a culture of global collaboration by sharing best practices with your global team members, partners, and stakeholders

A day in the life
This position may require access to information, technology, or hardware that is subject to export control laws and regulations, including the Export Administration Regulations (EAR) and the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Employment in this position is contingent upon obtaining any required export licenses or other approvals from the United States government. As such, the successful candidate must be eligible to obtain any necessary export licenses or approvals based on their nationality, citizenship, and any other factors considered by the applicable export control regulations.

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- 5+ years of launching and scaling new technology products, services, or businesses

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of developing and managing acquisition marketing or channel programs experience
- 5+ years in technology, media, or telecommunications; or satellite internet
