Our programs support billions of price updates every month, covering the majority of products sold in the Amazon store. We are continually innovating across Desktop, Mobile, and our suite of APIs to help Sellers set better prices at scale.
We are re-imagining how Pricing tools can be used to help all Sellers expand their business worldwide across all Amazon stores. In this role, you will invent on behalf of our Selling Partners to help them navigate around the complexity of international pricing to grow an international business. The ideal candidate loves to think big, and has a passion for solving complex problems. They thrive working alongside multi-disciplinary teams, and on inter-connected systems. They influence, up, down, and sideways, to build consensus and drive teams towards results.
At Amazon, PMTs are the end-to-end owners of our software offerings, hardware, and technical services. PMTs leverage their technical depth to partner closely with engineers in defining a vision and building a roadmap to launch technical products that play a key role in making Amazon Earth’s most customer centric company. PMTs are set on a path to become leaders of major business segments or technical organizations.
Key job responsibilities
- Creating the 3-year product vision
- Own delivery roadmap
- Influencing technical design
- Drive cross-team alignment with global teams
- Define and measure key performance indicators.

With millions of products available on Amazon.com, our Pricing Systems organization is using technology to compute and publish prices for every item in Amazon’s retail catalog, delivering competitive prices across our full range of products and automating decision-making. We are integral to Amazon’s ability to deliver on its promise to customers.
Our teams of software developers and research scientists develop pricing strategies, working with business and finance leaders to make decisions with the potential for significant financial impact to the company.
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools

Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with end to end product delivery
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, analytics, mathematics, statistics, IT or equivalent
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
