Key job responsibilities
AWS Supply Chain Managers are responsible for tracking the status of Purchase Requisitions to Purchase Order using internal tools and processes. Manage, analyze, and reconcile purchase orders internally and externally. Work with vendors and Procurement to coordinate purchase order changes and approvals. Monitor and coordinate purchase order issuance and cancellations. Track recurring issues that arise in the Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order creation process and proactively recommend solutions to improve the process. Present the performance and metrics associated with the Purchase Requisition to Purchase Order processes.
A day in the life
Key Responsibilities / Daily Activities include:
• Manage a ticket queue
• Issue POs and manage timely payment
• Material/Inventory Planning
• Supply/Demand planning and Forecasting
• Maintaining continuity of supply (COS)
• Communicating supply status, risks/mitigations to internal stakeholders and leadership
• Working with data and analytics (ability to view, edit, and extrapolate data in Excel or similar spreadsheet software)
• Working with suppliers/vendors, datacenters, and inventory warehousing teams

Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years of program or project management experience- 1+ years of supply chain experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
