Amazon's Cross Border team is responsible for providing customers a one-stop shop for international transportation service, providing end-to-end supply chain solutions. We are seeking a customer-centric individual who wants to be part of this journey and manage daily operational tasks and customer queries.
A Sr Compliance Specialist owns end-to-end customs entry exception management by serving as the escalation point between internal stakeholders, LSPs, brokerage operations, and cross-functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve clearance and payment-impacting issues.
Key job responsibilities
Manage daily entry monitoring activities, including rejected entries, missing or inaccurate data, documentation discrepancies, and system-related failures impacting successful customs processing. Partner with LSPs to drive root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and timely resolution of operational blockers.
Lead cancellation and replacement entry workflows by validating impacted shipments, coordinating required corrections with customs officials, and ensuring compliance alignment while minimizing downstream financial and operational risk.
Supporting statement authorization and duty payment operations by investigating payment failures, rejected transactions, duty discrepancies, and system exceptions. Collaborate with Finance, tech team, and external partners to resolve defects, improve controls, and prevent recurring issues.
Provide operational guidance, escalation support, and process improvements to increase entry accuracy, reduce manual intervention, and improve customs clearance performance at scale.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in Trade Compliance and/or Supply Chain industry, i.e. as customs agent/officer, compliance specialist, or customs operationsPreferred Qualifications

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
