Amazon is seeking a skilled, motivated and customer obsessed Executive Assistant / Office Manager with a history of high performance to support a senior leader and their team in the Japan Books and Kindle organization.

Successful candidate will possess the ability to prioritize and complete high volumes of tasks, varying projects, contract management, and carry out event planning quickly and with little to no guidance; react with appropriate level of urgency to situations and events that require quick response or turnaround; take appropriate action without having to know the total picture; and efficiently solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the department or other related groups. Successful candidates also have the ability to meet tight deadlines and can switch gears at a moment's notice.

This position will work closely with other Executive Assistants and Administrative Assistants throughout the organization. High level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals inside and outside the company is required. In addition, exceptional written and oral communication skills, high attention to detail, bias for action, detailed planning, time management and organizational skills are required.

Other key responsibilities include:
-Responsible for extensive calendar management of all kinds, including global needs if applicable.
-Tracking and helping drive completion of key deliverables
-Manages all travel arrangements some of which can be quite complex. This includes meeting set up, travel arrangements, lodging, meals, expense reports, etc.
-Complete responsibility for management of the senior leader’s email or other correspondence for optimization of time. This includes prioritizing, organizing, routing, drafting, proofreading or responding to email proactively
-Organizes and orchestrates staff/team meetings and other group events
-This position will work with other assistants throughout the team and across the rest of the company globally

Basic Qualifications
