Job description

from Amazon careers
Join Amazon's New Seller Recruitment (NSR) team as a Sales Operations Associate and play a critical role in the execution engine that keeps NSR's seller journey running. Based in Costa Rica and reporting to the Sales Operations Specialist, you will execute the day-to-day tactical work streams — pipeline support, opportunity assignments, intake triage, and ARR-to-AGR handoffs — that directly support NSR's recruit, launch, and grow mission across our US third-party (3P) business. This role is for a detail-oriented, process-driven operator who takes pride in accurate, efficient execution and thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key job responsibilities
Execute Tactical Work Streams: Own day-to-day execution of assigned work streams — including pipeline support, opportunity assignments, intake triage, ARR-to-AGR handoffs, and pipeline audits — with accuracy and speed.

Manage Intake Queue: Process Asana queue requests daily, routing tickets accurately and responding within established service level agreements (SLAs).

Support Pipeline Operations: Execute bulk pipeline moves, individual opportunity support requests, pipeline audits, and ad hoc cleanup tasks to maintain NSR's pipeline hygiene standards.

Process Opportunity Assignments: Execute FR&D assignments, AGR assignments, and NSI+ opportunity creation accurately and on time.

Maintain Audit Standards: Complete CRB opportunity audits and ARR-to-AGR handoff audits, flagging discrepancies to the Sales Operations Specialist for resolution.

Identify and Surface Issues: Proactively flag patterns, blockers, or quality issues to the Sales Operations Specialist to support continuous improvement.

A day in the life
Your day starts with the Asana intake queue — reviewing new requests, routing them accurately, and beginning to execute against the morning's priorities. Throughout the day, you'll work through a variety of tactical assignments: processing pipeline support requests, executing FR&D and Account Growth Representative (AGR) assignments, completing CRB opportunity audits, and updating Account Recruitment Representative (ARR)-to-AGR handoff tasks. You'll communicate regularly with your team lead to flag questions, report progress, and escalate any issues that require additional judgment. You'll also connect directly with US-based Sales Ops team members as needed to clarify context or confirm priorities. By end of day, you will have processed dozens of requests accurately and on time — keeping NSR's seller journey moving forward.

About the team
Sales Operations is the operational engine behind NSR's recruit, launch, and grow mission — owning lead assignment, opportunity creation, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) data integrity, ARR-to-AGR handoffs, and pipeline hygiene across a 350+ person sales organization supporting $1.9B in Gross Merchandise Sales (GMS). Our team spans three functional areas — pre-launch seller support (ARR), post-launch seller support (AGR), and CRM/pipeline operations — and includes a tactical operations team in Costa Rica focused on the day-to-day execution that keeps the seller journey running. We are data-driven, seller-obsessed, and committed to building systems that scale.
