Job description

from Amazon careers
Shape the future of how millions of people work and how AI agents reach them securely.

As a Senior Solutions Architect within the Amazon Agentic WorkSpaces Specialist team, you will be at the forefront of two transformative shifts: modernizing enterprise desktops with cloud-native virtual workspaces, and pioneering the use of End User Computing (EUC) services as the secure, cost-effective delivery vehicle for agentic AI capabilities that put intelligent automation directly into the hands of end users.

In this role you will become a deep technical authority on Amazon WorkSpaces Personal, WorkSpaces Applications and WorkSpaces Secure Browser. You will work directly with customers in Japan across a range of industries to design, architect and deploy these services, helping them solve real-world challenges such as enabling secure remote and hybrid work, simplifying desktop management at scale, meeting stringent compliance and data-sovereignty requirements, and migrating away from legacy on-premises VDI. Beyond these established use cases, you will help customers explore and adopt an exciting emerging pattern: leveraging EUC services as a resilient, governed platform for delivering agentic AI experiences to end users in a way that balances innovation with security and cost control.

Key job responsibilities
- Partner with AWS customers in Japan to understand their business and technical requirements, then design and deliver architectures that accelerate adoption of WorkSpaces Personal, WorkSpaces Applications and WorkSpaces Secure Browser
- Act as a trusted technical advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, from initial proof-of-concept through production deployment and optimisation
- Develop and publish technical content that raises the bar for the broader community, including reference architectures, blog posts, whitepapers and hands-on workshop materials
- Represent AWS on stage at industry events, conferences and webinars, sharing best practices and customer success stories with technical audiences worldwide
- Collaborate directly with AWS EUC service engineering teams, translating customer feedback and field insights into product feature requests that shape the roadmap and future direction of our services
- Drive thought leadership around the emerging intersection of end user computing and agentic AI, helping define patterns and best practices for secure, scalable agent delivery

What we are looking for:
- Deep hands-on experience with virtual desktop infrastructure, desktop-as-a-service or end user computing technologies
- A passion for working directly with customers and a track record of guiding them through complex technical decisions
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present confidently to audiences ranging from individual engineers to C-suite executives
- A builder mindset: you enjoy creating content, writing, and sharing knowledge as much as you enjoy solving technical problems
- Curiosity about the intersection of AI, automation and end user computing, and a desire to help define what comes next
