Job description
from Amazon careersLead operational transformation across Amazon's Last Mile logistics network in Brazil, where you'll drive measurable improvements through hands-on project execution and team leadership. You'll combine strategic oversight with field-level problem-solving, deploying your team directly to delivery stations to implement solutions that move key performance metrics and shape how we partner with logistics providers at scale.
Key job responsibilities
Lead, coach, and develop a multidisciplinary team across Network Health, Project Execution, and Operational Excellence functions, fostering a culture of ownership and execution discipline
Own the consolidated network health view across all partner logistics programs, monitoring key performance metrics and identifying improvement opportunities through data analysis
Direct hands-on project execution for operational improvement initiatives, ensuring your team is deployed to stations and routes to implement solutions, validate results, and sustain changes alongside site teams
Establish and maintain unified operational standards across all station types, ensuring consistent adherence to standard procedures at every operational node
Build scalable mechanisms for network performance tracking, root cause analysis, and corrective action management, with structured reporting and real-time visibility into operational health and project status
A day in the life
Your morning begins by reviewing the network health dashboard, tracking performance trends across our partner logistics programs. You identify a performance gap at a specific cluster and connect your Network Health specialist with the data needed to conduct a root cause analysis within 48 hours.
Mid-morning, you connect with your project executor who is on-site at a delivery station implementing a new operational protocol. They share updates on team training progress and early results showing measurable improvement. You review their tracking data and discuss next steps for sustaining the changes.
Before lunch, you meet with your operational excellence cell to discuss their work supporting a station transition and new launch. You coach them on escalation frameworks and review their adherence to standard operating procedures.
After lunch, your field executor calls from a multi-cycle station where they've been embedded for two weeks on a standardization project. Early results show meaningful improvement in key metrics. You align with the Learning team on developing training materials for broader rollout once results are validated.
You close the day preparing a strategic summary for your leader—highlighting weekly operational health, project execution progress across stations, metric improvements achieved, and planning the next deployment priorities for your team.
Every day blends people leadership, project coordination, performance analysis, and field-level execution oversight—all focused on ensuring operational improvements are implemented and sustained where it matters most.
About the team
We are part of Amazon Logistics' Partner Strategy & Experience organization, supporting multiple logistics partner programs across Brazil's network of delivery stations and operational nodes. Our mission centers on three core areas: monitoring and improving network health through data-driven insights, executing improvement projects directly at stations and routes, and standardizing operational routines to support partner success.
Our team deploys project managers directly into the field—they work alongside site teams to implement solutions, validate results, and sustain changes. We're not designing processes from a distance; we're making operational improvements happen on the ground. We work cross-functionally with Operations, Finance, Planning, and Learning teams to align improvement initiatives with broader business objectives and support Amazon's Last Mile growth in Brazil.
You'll be joining a team that values execution discipline, collaborative problem-solving, and measurable results. We support logistics partners through launches, transitions, and performance recovery—serving as a trusted operational resource across the network.
- Experience running an effective operational excellence program
- Experience leading organizational change initiatives across multiple locations
- Experience building scalable programs and repeatable scalable processes, levering various tools and methods to create scale and efficiency
- Experience in communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal in Portuguese & English
- Experience in program management, logistics, operations, supply chain, transportation, or a related field
- Experience developing operational processes and technologies
- Bachelor's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field
- Familiarity with key Last Mile metrics: DEA, Last Mile BPS, Concessions, TPH, DPPH, OTD, FPY, Scorecard, SIR
- Experience building and scaling new teams or functions from scratch
- Experience supporting third-party logistics partners with operational execution and standardization
