The Books team in Germany is looking for a smart, team-oriented, highly analytical Sr. Vendor Manager to join our passionate and fast-paced team and help us scale our business. In the role you will develop CEO level business relationships and manage high impact projects.
The successful candidate will have exceptional project management, communication and analytical skills and big ideas on how to create great customer experiences. They will be detail-oriented, organized and capable of handling multiple projects at once, working to tight deadlines, dealing with multiple teams and corresponding with publishers. The right candidate will be ambitious and keen to move into a fast paced environment.
In this position candidates will:
- Manage strategic programs with leading publishers to create a great customer experience and help the books business and publishers grow
-Complete customer analysis, brainstorm and execute new initiatives to meet customer needs
-Analyse and track publishers' performance on key performance indicators
-Think backwards from the customer means thinking across reading/listening formats: physical books, kindle, Audible
-Work closely with the marketing, supply chain and product management teams within ww Books to align all efforts and deliver results
- Experience with high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
- Speak, write, and read fluently in German
- Experience working in a fast paced, quickly changing or international environment
- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in business-to-business relationships, preferably in e-commerce, publishing, or related industrie
- Past experience with digital technologies, e-commerce, supply chain and/ or content management

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- Experience with high-level negotiation and successful internal and external relationship management
- Speak, write, and read fluently in German

- Minimum 6 years of professional experience in business-to-business relationships, preferably in e-commerce, publishing, or related industrie
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree, or MBA- Past experience with digital technologies, e-commerce, supply chain and/ or content management
