Key job responsibilities
- Define and lead the execution of placement initiatives that optimize inventory positioning across the AMXL network
- Design and implement automation solutions to streamline inventory planning processes and improve operational efficiency
- Conduct complex optimization exercises analyzing inventory flows, demand patterns, and capacity constraints to drive data-informed decisions
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders including operations, transportation, and fulfillment teams to align on placement strategies and resolve inventory challenges

A day in the life
You'll start your day analyzing inventory performance metrics and identifying opportunities for optimization. You might spend time building automation tools to streamline repetitive processes, then shift to collaborating with operations partners on implementing a new placement strategy. Throughout the day, you'll tackle customer-facing challenges that require deep analysis, run optimization models to test different scenarios, and work with stakeholders to execute improvements that enhance the customer experience.

- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Experience in writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities, or experience in SQL Server/MySQL

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or MBA in supply chain management, operations, engineering, analytics or related field- Experience working effectively across cross-functional teams and partnering well with people at all levels within an organization
- Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Experience in writing SQL queries and creating business intelligence reports using Tableau, Power BI
