The team in AWS India is looking for Solutions Architects, who can work with our customers to deliver on a strategy to build mind share on AWS cloud, who have built world class scaling infrastructure and exceptional solutions. Indian industries are profoundly changing everyday life of billion+ Indians through their digital native solutions and exploding digital contents. Your broad responsibilities will include; owning technical engagement and ensuring success around specific implementation projects, developing a deep expertise in AWS as well as broad knowledge around how applications and solutions are constructed using AWS services.
An ideal candidate will possess customer-facing skills that will allow her/him to represent AWS India demonstrating strategic thinking with senior executives, advising on the architecture, design IT systems, deploying at scale, evangelizing adoption of cloud and AI-ML technologies among developers. S/He should have experience with multiple technology patterns and frameworks and is able to trade-offs between solutions, performance and cost. Candidate should be a continuous learner with the ability to do hands-on, identify repeatable architecture patterns, know best practices and demonstrate the art of possibility.


Key job responsibilities
The selected candidate will act as a trusted advisor with M&E/Cross Industry customers responsible for mapping their business requirements to solutions; building relationships with stakeholders; define performance requirements; compare various design patterns; discern between variety of Generative AI, AI/ML, data, analytics, compute, containers, and serverless technologies; architect for high availability and scaling requirements, while minimizing the cost and meeting security standards; build resilient solutions; advise on building DevOps process and observability solutions; conduct well architected reviews; partner with AWS Specialists to implement innovative solutions; collaborate with the Service teams to identify feature gaps suggesting new features; present to customer C-suite and technical communities on architecture patterns, best practices, case studies.

A day in the life
The Solutions Architect team at AWS is responsible for helping customers successfully implement cloud technologies. In a typical week you will meet multiple customers, and you will collaborate with them on designing and operating well-architected solutions. You will earn their trust and show them the art of the possible, educating them around the capabilities of AWS. Partnering with internal teams and experts, leveraging a deep knowledge of our tools and products, you’ll craft highly scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures that address our customers’ business problems. Basic Qualifications

- Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)
- Experience architecting/operating solutions built on AWS, or experience with project management
- Experience in one or more of the following areas: software design or development, content distribution/CDN, scripting/automation, database architecture, IP networking, IT security, BigData/Hadoop/Spark, operations management, service oriented architecture
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals (networking, storage, operating systems)
- . 10+ years of IT development/consulting experience with 5+ years of architecture, design, implementation and deployment on large scale systems using advanced solutions such as AI-ML/bigdata analytics/database/ containers or similar

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Experience working with and presenting to C-level executives, IT, and lines of businesses across organizations or equivalent
- AWS certification, or Associate's degree or above
- 2)Experience architecting cloud solutions for media and entertainment workloads
