*This listing is to support various openings across the US and Canada* Join Amazon's Transportation Operations Management (TOM) team as an Associate Learning & Development Trainer and play a crucial role in shaping our transportation network's future. In this DOT-regulated position, you'll combine your transportation expertise with hands-on training delivery to develop our Transportation Associates' (TAs) critical skills. You'll lead classroom, virtual, and yard training sessions, focusing on safety, operational excellence, and compliance. This role offers a unique opportunity to impact one of the world's largest transportation networks while developing your own skills in training delivery and operational support. Key job responsibilities Training Delivery • Deliver standardized classroom, virtual, and hands-on training following established curriculum • Conduct comprehensive new hire onboarding covering yard safety, equipment operation, and Amazon policies • Provide continuous education programs including safety refreshers and operational updates Over-the-Road (OTR) Training • Deliver safe driving techniques and defensive driving principles • Ensure compliance with DOT requirements through proper vehicle inspections and documentation • Train associates on route planning, navigation, and emergency response protocols Safety and Operations • Execute yard safety observations and provide real-time coaching to Transportation Associates • Support yard operations during high-volume events through yard management…
