from Amazon careersAmazon is seeking a talented and motivated Sensor Electrical Engineer to work on system design, implementation and release to manufacturing. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in system design, analog and digital circuit design, possess good communication skills, and have complete ownership of development and productization of a sensor system. The candidate will have strong technical expertise to deliver unsupervised, as well as great leadership skills to work with internal customers and external partners. Key job responsibilities - Oversee an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production including design, prototyping, validation, testing and certification. - Develop requirements, functional specifications, DVT plans and test procedures. - Build and facilitate concept prototype systems consisting of a mix of in house and OTS components. - Design, implement and debug embedded systems, analog, and digital circuits. - Facilitate product releases to manufacturing and customer deployments. - Research and advocate for new technologies and projects to help the business. - Oversee characterization of new internally developed or OTS sensors. - Write papers to drive strategic initiatives for Amazon Robotics. - Mentor junior engineers, provide advice and direction to outside projects/other groups. - Participate in program and design reviews. - Ensure program…
