Amazon MGM Studios is the home for talent, creating and producing Original films and television series for a global audience. Original series premiere exclusively on Prime Video, which is available in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

We are seeking a Creative Coordinator to support our production and development executives in Tokyo. In this role, you will be at the heart of our creative operations — managing the flow of submissions, tracking projects through development, and ensuring seamless communication between our internal teams and external creative partners. You'll play a critical role in keeping our slate moving forward by coordinating across Legal, Marketing, Business Affairs, and Production, while also serving as a key point of contact for external writers, producers, and talent representatives.

Key job responsibilities
- Manage and maintain submission tracking systems, ensuring all incoming pitches, scripts, and creative materials are logged, routed, and followed up on in a timely manner
- Track projects through all stages of development, maintaining up-to-date status reports for the creative executive team
- Coordinate internal and external meetings including development discussions, pitch sessions, and cross-functional syncs with Legal, Marketing, Business Affairs, and Production
- Serve as a key point of contact for external creative partners including writers, producers, agents, and talent representatives
- Prepare meeting agendas, creative briefs, and follow-up materials to support executive decision-making
- Support the preparation of greenlight materials, presentations, and internal documentation
- Manage executive calendars and travel coordination as needed in support of creative activities

About the team
Amazon MGM Studios Japan is the Tokyo-based production and development arm focusing on local Japanese original content for Prime Video. The studio produces both scripted and unscripted content, including anime, aiming to deliver high-quality local stories to both domestic and international audiences.

Basic Qualifications

- 2+ years of studio or production company assistant, or 2+ years of creative executive experience
- Experience assessing industry talent and trends
- Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications
- Experience as an assistant at a studio or production company
- Speak, write, and read fluently in Japanese at a business level or above (N1+)
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English

Preferred Qualifications

- Familiarity with the development-to-production lifecycle for scripted series or films
- Interest in or exposure to the global streaming landscape
- Knowledge of the Japanese scripted content landscape, including key production companies, agencies, and emerging talent
