Makes optimal tradeoffs between schedule, resources, and scope, and applies supply-chain knowledge to coordinate program design and address materials shortages within schedule and budget constraints. Key job responsibilities The New Product Introduction (NPI), Materials Manager is responsible for all activities related to order fulfillment, from NPI build plans to xVT build delivery, including day-to-day communication and management of the EMS partner globally. This person is organized, proactive, has a business orientation and is responsible for working within the local and remote Operations and cross functional teams driving xVT build order fulfillment. In this role, you will: - Act as the primary liaison between EMS and project core team monitoring, managing and driving the EMS to assure goals/schedule is being met - Work together with the Materials Program Manager (MPM), to communicate the xVT build plan and build matrix and verify fulfillment from a materials perspective - Drive solutions to reduce and eliminate any shortages preventing meeting material order schedule, including assisting in sourcing materials as required - Schedule and host meetings with suppliers in US and/or globally as required reducing and eliminating shortages - Schedule and host meetings with cross-functional program team in US and/or globally as required reducing and…
