from Amazon careersAmazon Leo is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. In this role, you will bring that vision to life by designing, developing and testing the embedded satellite software and ground services that control individual satellites.
In this role, you will manage a team responsible for embedded software and cloud services for the Leo satellites. Our focuses are on reliability, efficiency, safety, and security.
Export Control Requirement:
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

- Define and drive the multi-year vision for the team.
- Oversee resource allocation to ensure appropriate business and staff development goals are met.
