from Amazon careersAmazon Stores Security - Regulation Tech Assurance (RTA) is the team responsible for maintaining global regulatory compliance for all Amazon Stores, Devices, and Others to include payment and healthcare compliance. Additionally, RTA works to identify, analyze, and mitigate security risk identified through various compliance activities, pentesting, and other sources. We are seeking an experienced, self-motivated Principal Technical Program Manager with a background in security compliance who will help identify, analyze, and prioritize security risk identified through a variety of sources across Amazon. This work will help drive leadership prioritization and reduced security and compliance risk. Key job responsibilities - Manage and be accountable for security programs and/or projects to reduce security and compliance risk. - Work across various stakeholders to identify and evaluate customer needs and solutions. - Lead various security compliance activities in order for Amazon to achieve and maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and industry standard requirements. - Continuously prioritize risk for service teams, security teams, and executive leadership. - Work with security engineers and others to develop technical risk mitigation strategies and approaches. - Communicate clearly and effectively both in writing and verbally with team members, stakeholders, and leadership. - Integrate into various enterprise risk management processes.…
