The Global Solutions for Analytics, Risk, Compliance (GSARC) team is seeking a motivated Sr. Risk Manager with DG experience across multiple transportation modes, regulatory compliance expertise, analytical and communication capabilities, and a hands-on passion to dive-deep into processes to enable Amazon's growth in a safe environment for customers, partners, and associates. The Sr. Risk Manager will be responsible for establishing the regulatory framework and operational controls necessary to safely handle DG shipments across air, ground, and ocean freight lanes, ensuring adherence to IATA, IMDG, DOT, and other relevant regulatory requirements. The role requires developing country-specific compliance standards across multiple countries, including the United States, Europe, United Kingdom, and Japan, implementing technology controls, coordinating carrier protocols, and deploying comprehensive training programs. This role will represent DG risk management programs to internal and external stakeholders alongside building relationships with key stakeholders, including regulators, and business partners to promote and advocate Amazon's commitment to safety excellence across the Global Mile network.
