from Amazon careersJoin our Fleet team as a Program Manager I where you'll drive operational excellence in fleet safety, availability, and utilization across Amazon's last mile delivery network. In this impactful role, you'll partner directly with regions and delivery stations to develop and implement solutions focused on fleet management. You'll be responsible for conducting comprehensive fleet calibrations, defining feedback strategies, and executing action plans that directly improve our delivery capabilities.

Key job responsibilities
- Perform fleet calibrations through visual inspections at delivery stations and develop data-driven action plans to improve fleet availability and utilization
- Define and implement feedback and training strategies for stakeholders to enhance fleet safety and operational performance
- Establish and maintain productive relationships with regional teams and delivery stations to provide effective fleet management solutions
- Execute action plans with timely follow-up and prepare documentation for business review mechanisms
- Monitor key performance indicators for fleet safety, availability, and utilization, identifying opportunities for process improvements
**Travel expectations for this role will be approximately 60%**
A day in the life
Your day begins with fleet calibrations at delivery stations, visually inspecting vehicles and collecting data to inform improvement strategies. You'll collaborate with stakeholders to provide feedback and training that enhances fleet performance. Throughout the day, you'll execute and follow up on action plans, track progress against key metrics, and prepare documentation for business reviews. You'll also spend time advancing ongoing projects, coordinating with regional teams, and identifying process improvements to optimize fleet operations.

- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document

Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Speak, write, and read fluently in English
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Lean principles and DMAIC methodology- Experience in MS Access and SQL
- Experience in requirement gathering and ability to write clear and detailed requirement document
