from Amazon careersWe are looking for a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM III) to join Amazon's Trustworthy Shopping Experience (TSE) Applied Science team. In this role, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of large, complex, cross-functional AI programs — driving Generative AI and ML research from proof-of-concept through production deployment at Amazon scale. You will work at the intersection of applied science, engineering, and business — partnering with world-class scientists, engineers, and key stakeholders to transform innovative AI solutions into systems that protect the shopping experience of hundreds of millions of customers. You will define program strategy, exercise strong technical judgment on ML architectures and research-to-production pipelines, and drive alignment across science, engineering, product, legal, and policy teams within the organization. The ideal candidate delivers independently in ambiguous environments, communicates complex trade-offs clearly to internal and external stakeholders, and builds scalable mechanisms that improve how the org moves from research to real-world impact. This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role at the forefront of agentic AI, LLMs, and autonomous reasoning systems — where your work will reach customers within months, not years.
