from Amazon careersThe manager is tasked with overseeing operations for for Rail and Air within a specific cluster, requiring meticulous coordination across multiple facilities strategically distributed throughout the Zone (North& East). This multifaceted role demands expertise in inventory management, staff supervision, operational workflow optimization, and quality control to ensure seamless functioning of these non-customer-facing hubs. The manager must maintain consistent operational standards across all locations while adapting to the challenges of each facility, implement efficient picking and packing processes, monitor technological systems that support operations, coordinate with delivery teams for smooth order hand-offs, and respond swiftly to operational disruptions. Additionally, they are responsible for resource allocation, performance metric tracking, compliance with safety regulations, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements that can be scaled across the entire cluster, ultimately contributing to the organization's commitment to rapid, accurate order fulfillment in the competitive landscape.
We have a 5-day work week but given the 7 days a week operation, the 2 scheduled days off will vary based on shift patterns and business needs.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
- Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of employee and performance management experience- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 2+ years of Amazon (blue badge/FTE) experience
