- Deliver mechanical design projects from concept through production, ensuring designs meet functional requirements, cost targets, and manufacturing constraints
- Create 3D CAD models, engineering drawings, and specifications for mechanical components and assemblies
- Conduct engineering analyses including tolerance stack-ups, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T), and Finite Element Analysis (FEA)
- Develop and execute test plans to validate mechanical designs against product requirements
- Collaborate with industrial designers, electrical engineers, and manufacturing partners to integrate mechanical designs with other subsystems.
- Identify and resolve technical issues during development and production phases
- Document design decisions, test results, and engineering changes
- Support Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) activities
Basic Qualifications
- 4+ years of hardware design and validation of components, subsystems and systems experience- Bachelor's degree in robotics, mechanical/mechatronics engineering, systems engineering or related field
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD experience and understanding of best practices for part design, and advanced assemblies- Experience in the design of complex mechanical products and equipment from prototyping to implementation

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
