Join the SAAB (Settlements Authority and Billing) team in FinTech Receivables, where we're transforming how Amazon processes billions of dollars in settlements, transaction adjustments, and billing operations across global businesses. We're looking for an SDE II who thrives on solving complex distributed systems challenges and wants to make a direct impact on Amazon's financial infrastructure. As an SDE II on our team, you'll design and build highly scalable systems that power Settlements Authority (SA), Transaction Adjustment Experience (TRAX), and OFA Billing—critical platforms that enable seamless financial operations between accounts receivable and payable subledgers. You'll work with latest AWS technologies, collaborate with finance operations teams across Amazon, and help us modernize legacy systems while maintaining the reliability our business depends on. You'll write clean, maintainable code, participate in architectural decisions, mentor junior engineers, and take ownership of features from conception through production deployment. This is a hands-on role where you'll contribute to the full software development lifecycle while working with technologies including Java, AWS Lambda, DynamoDB, Kinesis, and modern web frameworks.
