This team shapes the middle-mile transportation execution and develops innovative transportation management concepts. The goal is to improve and enhance the Amazon Transportation Network. The ultimate aim is to drive the best customer experience in a reliable and cost-efficient manner, every time.
The ATS MX Transportation Operation Management (TOM) team is looking for an Area Manager with a strong delivery record, proven ability to drive process improvement, people management experience, and ability to motivate reporting team members to meet the challenges of an on-time driven environment.
Key job responsibilities
- Drive high safety standards for all yard operations, ensuring safe work environment for Amazon and non-Amazon workers.
- Audit and ensure compliance to all standard work, nail the plan and environmental regulations
- Meet the OTP/OTD target per shift.
- Own area performance metrics and communicate them to TOM Manager and site leadership.

Using road and air transport, as well as sortation centres equipped with the latest technology, you’ll help Amazon’s transport run at maximum efficiency. Our team captures data and uses it to drive decisions. They are key to making Amazon more innovative and efficient.
