- Working with an interdisciplinary team to execute product designs from concept to production including specification, design, prototyping, validation and testing
- Intake robotic concepts and high level requirements and create kinematic concepts based on a family of components
- Capability to do some basic first-precepts examination of loads and feasibility checks
- Generate URDF files
- Drive dynamics evaluation using MATLAB dynamics examination tools
- Interpret outputs of the assessment and feed back into further iteration on robot concepts
- Be able to collaborate directly with customers to align on requirements, discuss tradeoffs, communicate concepts clearly, etc
- Ability to code/script in Matlab
- Exhibit role model behaviors of thorough engineering assessments and cradle to grave ownership
- Design and adaptation of holistic hardware solutions for ambiguous problems with fluid requirements
