Key job responsibilities • Develop low-level embedded software for satellite hardware in the Leo system. • Developing embedded software in assembly, C, C++, Rust or other languages • Applying experience with bare metal and real-time embedded software philosophies and practices • Reviewing schematics, decomposing avionics system requirements into embedded software requirements • Experience with state machine development and verification mechanisms • Developing fault-tolerant software for use in a radiation environment. • Debugging using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and embedded software (bare-metal) troubleshooting techniques. • Participate in all phases of the software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, code, test, and code/test coverage.
