- Design and develop digital electronics, analog electronics, and power supplies for wireless hardware platform
- Perform schematic capture and PCB layout design, optimizing for electrical performance, thermal management, manufacturing constraints, and cost
- Conduct board bring-up, validation, troubleshotting, system integration, manufacturing test support, and field return failure analysis
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams from concept design through full design cycles
- Transition of the electrical system design, including power management, micro-controller, and wireless communication to high-volume production
- Work with and manage suppliers and manufacturing partners including overseas build support
Requirements
- 5-10 years relevant work experience in digital/analog electronic designs
- Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent experience
- Hands-on experience in prototype bring-up and debugging, validation, and manufacturing support
- Hands on experience in working with oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, frequency generators, etc.
- Experience with digital and memory interfaces (UART, CAN, SPI, I2C, USB, JTAG, Ethernet, PCIe, SDIO, LPDDR3/4, etc.), and signal integrity analysis
- Familiarity with PCB stack-up, SMT process, In-circuit tests, manufacturing tests and designing for DFM/DFT
- Problem solver with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with Altium/Cadence design tools and knowledge with wireless (LTE/WiFi/BT/GNSS) system development and board level design is a plus
- Experience with ARM based processors and PMIC design is a plus
- Familiarity with digital ASICs and system design on Mobile phone applications
