Spotify for Artists (S4A) is Spotify’s flagship platform for artists and their teams, supporting over 650,000 monthly active users across web and mobile. It’s where artists manage their presence on Spotify—exploring audience insights, promoting releases, customizing profiles, and growing their business through tools like Marquee, Showcase, and Discovery Mode.
As part of the Music Mission, this team operates across a broad technical landscape including client applications, backend systems, and large-scale data pipelines. You’ll lead a team working at the intersection of product innovation and platform reliability, shaping experiences that directly impact Spotify’s global creator community.
What You'll Do
- Lead and grow a team of engineers across backend, client, and data disciplines, supporting multiple squads
- Set clear technical and organizational direction across a complex, full-stack product area
- Partner closely with Product, Design, Insights, and Marketing to deliver impactful features for artists
- Drive execution across multiple concurrent initiatives, ensuring strong coordination and delivery
