You’ll join the Core Infrastructure studio within Spotify’s Platform mission, specifically the Manifesto squad. This team builds and evolves the foundational infrastructure that powers Spotify at scale—helping hundreds of engineers ship faster, more reliably, and with confidence. You’ll lead a team working on critical systems that enable resilience, performance, and developer productivity across the company.
What You'll Do
- Lead, support, and grow a team of engineers working on core infrastructure systems used across Spotify
- Set clear direction and priorities, balancing long-term platform investments with immediate product needs
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and cross-functional leaders to shape infrastructure strategy
- Drive technical excellence, reliability, and scalability across distributed systems
- Foster a healthy, inclusive, and collaborative team environment where people can do their best work
- Support engineers in their development through coaching, feedback, and career growth conversations
- Help evolve engineering practices, ways of working, and operational maturity across the studio
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and knowledge sharing
