SOURCING MANAGER, DATACENTER AND OPTICAL HARDWARE (STARLINK)
Starlink is the world’s largest satellite-based ISP, delivering global connectivity through a massive satellite constellation and rapidly expanding ground infrastructure. We are seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead sourcing strategy, supplier management, and delivery of datacenter and optical networking hardware for our Points of Presence (PoPs) and datacenters. In this role, you will own end-to-end sourcing and procurement for critical datacenter and optical hardware. You will build strategic supplier partnerships, negotiate high-impact agreements, accelerate delivery timelines, actively manage inventory, and continuously optimize for cost, quality, speed, and supply chain resilience. The ideal candidate thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, possesses strong commercial acumen, and has a proven ability to deliver results in datacenter or high-scale infrastructure procurement.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Negotiate creative, flexible, and commercially strong agreements (including maintenance, repair, and sparing programs) with suppliers of datacenter and optical hardware.
- Partner closely with engineering, network planning, and operations teams to align sourcing strategies with technical requirements and deployment timelines.
