The role
Location: Bucharest, Romania | working model: hybrid (office approx. 1 per week) | contract type: full-time

Service Delivery Manager - Publisher Advisory plays a central role in ensuring high‑quality, efficient, and customer‑focused service delivery while also leading strategic planning activities across projects and operations. This hybrid function combines strong planning and organizational skills with stakeholder-facing service management responsibilities.
The role ensures end‑to‑end service excellence, drives process improvement, manages operational risks, and maintains strong customer relationships. It bridges internal planning teams, operational delivery teams, and external clients to align service execution with strategic objectives and evolving customer needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute project plans, timelines, and resource allocation aligned with service delivery goals.
- Monitor delivery progress, proactively managing risks, bottlenecks, and deviations from plan.
- Drive process optimization, standardization, and operational maturity across planning and delivery.
- Ensure end‑to‑end service delivery meets performance, quality, and contractual standards.
- Track service performance through KPIs and dashboards, initiating corrective and improvement actions.
- Act as the primary coordination point between regional and remote delivery teams, providing clear and transparent stakeholder communication.
What we need to see from you
- Proven experience in planning, scheduling, project controls, or operational planning within service‑driven environments.
- Experience in service delivery, account management, IT services, or client‑facing roles.
- Strong background working with SLAs, performance metrics, and customer expectations in managed or professional services.
- Practical knowledge of software licensing models and contracts, with the ability to align delivery plans to licensing entitlements and compliance.
- Proficiency with planning and tracking tools such as Jira, Confluence, or equivalent platforms.
- Solid understanding of ITIL principles and best practices in service delivery and operations.
