The role
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Consultant with strong expertise in cloud architecture, migration strategies, and managed services. You will lead enterprise-scale migrations from on-premise to AWS, design secure and scalable solutions, and provide strategic guidance to clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute AWS migration strategies for enterprise workloads.
- Assess existing infrastructure, define cloud readiness and migration roadmaps.
- Deploy and configure AWS services (EC2, RDS, VPC, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS).
- Manage AWS Managed Services: automation, monitoring, security, cost optimization.
- Implement IaC using Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation.
- Ensure compliance with AWS best practices, IAM policies, and governance frameworks.
- Oversee network and database architectures for hybrid setups.
- Mentor team members and enforce CI/CD best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues and perform Well-Architected Framework Reviews.
- Stay updated on AWS innovations and contribute to AI, IoT, and edge computing projects.
What we need to see from you
- 8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, with at least 6 years specializing in AWS.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, architecture design, and cloud governance.
- Expertise in cloud migration tools such as AWS Migration Hub, CloudEndure, or AWS DataSync.
- Experience managing Managed Services operations, including automation, patching, monitoring, and backup.
- Good understanding of security best practices (IAM, KMS, VPC Security Groups).
- Knowledge of tools like Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Deep infrastructure knowledge, encompassing compute, storage, networking (e.g., Direct Connect, Global Accelerator), database management (e.g., multi-AZ deployments, read replicas), multi-account setups, AWS organizations, Control Tower and security (IAM, encryption, logging, Governance & Compliance)
- Certifications
- AWS Solution Architect – Professional level (Mandatory)
- AWS CloudOps Engineer Associate (Mandatory)
- Terraform Associate certification (Important)
- Bachelor's or Master's degree with experience in the relevant field
