Forensic Structural Engineer

In this role you will have both forensic and design engineering responsibilities. You will conduct thorough forensic investigations to determine the cause of damage for insurance claims or asset/building owners and prepare detailed causation reports and Scopes of Works. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive design packages for the repair and remediation of the identified damage.

What are my accountabilities?

Inspect and assess the condition of existing buildings and structures to determine the cause of damage.
Identifying design and construction defects with reference to code and damage causation
Collecting data using photographic equipment
