Step into a key support role as an Adjusting Executive and grow your career in our expert Construction & Engineering team.
We’re excited to offer a rare opportunity to join our dynamic Construction & Engineering team as an Adjusting Executive. In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, supporting a team of seasoned professionals and working closely with the Commercial Specialist Services Support Manager. You’ll be instrumental in delivering exceptional service to our clients and colleagues, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to quality and care.
Your responsibilities will span the full claims lifecycle—from setting up new losses and making meaningful first contact with policyholders and brokers, to coordinating adjuster appointments and managing correspondence. You’ll ensure accurate data entry across our claims management systems, edit and issue reports to insurers, and proactively manage caseloads to maintain momentum and efficiency.
Success in this role requires strong time management skills and the ability to thrive under pressure while meeting tight deadlines. You’ll be comfortable juggling multiple tasks and priorities, working both independently and collaboratively to drive results. With a hands-on attitude and a diplomatic approach, you’ll tackle challenges directly and professionally, always maintaining a high standard of service. Your self-motivation will not only fuel your own development but also inspire those around you.

The skills you will have when you apply:
- Claims handling experience – Demonstrated understanding of the adjusting process from instruction to conclusion.
- Professional development commitment – Willingness to gain relevant technical knowledge and pursue qualifications.
- Self-sufficiency – Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Software proficiency – Confident using all relevant systems and tools required for the role.
- Data accuracy – Strong attention to detail in data entry and system updates.
- Communication skills – Excellent written and verbal communication with clients and colleagues.
- Driving licence – Full UK driving licence is advantageous. May be required to travel occasionally for business purposes.
