Building Automation Systems/Project Manager for the Cincinnati, Oh area Job Summary Qualifications: This position is typically held by an individual that has at least 2 plus years’ as project manager in the building automation or 6+ years’ experience as a project engineer, or combined years of system application engineering or technician experience. This position plans, directs and coordinates activities of project teams to ensure that projects are executed in accordance with all company and site safety requirements, accomplished on time, implemented at or below the estimated cost, and billed in a timely fashion throughout the duration of the project. Project managers must have construction industry knowledge, strong communication skills, strong understanding of contracting procedures and experience with responsibilities such as project correspondence, documentation, timely notice of changes and claims, negotiation and subcontract and vendor management. This individual should have an understanding of HVAC, BMS, and/or security systems as well as practical understanding of construction means and methods, building codes, and standards. They must exhibit strong leadership skills including directing activity of team members and the ability to empower others through delegating responsibility.
