About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer II to lead the design and development of data connectors that power our EcoStruxure Building Data Platform and Connector Hosting Solution. This role sits at the core of our IoT ingestion architecture, building high‑reliability, high‑volume connectors that transform raw device telemetry into structured, semantic data for downstream analytics, applications, and automation. You will design ETL-style data connectors for diverse building‑systems protocols and IoT devices, ensure secure and scalable data handling, and drive connector architecture across edge‑to‑cloud and cloud-to-cloud flows. This role is ideal for a senior IoT or data engineer who thrives in event-driven, cloud-native environments and enjoys shaping foundational ingestion infrastructure. Key Responsibilities IoT Data Connector Development Design, develop, and maintain high-quality IoT data connectors that collect, transform, and transmit data from a variety of devices and systems. Implement and optimize ingestion pipelines for ETL-style processing, ensuring efficient data collection, cleaning, mapping, and delivery into the EcoStruxure Building Data Platform. Develop IoT data-handling logic, including schema validation, error handling, batching, throttling, and event-driven transformation.
