Raytheon UK has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced and dedicated Facilities Security Officer to join the Raytheon UK Security Team in Harlow.

As Facilities Security Officer, you should have experience working with classified material and be familiar with UK requirements for its handling and storage.

You must be able to obtain SC clearance, additionally you must be able to travel to variety of UK sites or events as required.

Key Responsibilities: 

• Day-to-day supervision, guidance and support involving all aspects of protective security relating to staff, information, and assets. 
• Manage site access and access control throughout both facilities and ensure all necessary site accreditations are upheld. 
• Liaising with Project / Programme teams and responding to customer security requirements. 
• Manage the Cryptographic material as the Crypto Custodian if applicable. 
• Manage the security of all applicable offsite and onsite events. 
• Ownership of security procedures and ensure they are adhered to and associated risks are managed correctly. 
• Providing the primary response to, and investigating security incidents in a timely manner, ensuring that they are dealt with appropriately or escalated if necessary. 
• Highlighting and escalating any risks to the Project & Function.
