Not RequiredAs a Mechanical Repair Technician I, you will be responsible for the teardown, inspection, test and rebuild of regulators and aspirators, as well as hydrostatic testing of cylinders and charging reservoir assemblies with proper gasses.
What you will do:
Responsible for the overhaul/repair of regulators used on evacuation slides.
Responsible for overhaul/repair of aspirators used on evacuation slides.
Responsible for the hydrostatic testing of cylinders (re-qualification).
Responsible for the charging of reservoir assemblies.
Knowledge of cylinder types and specifications.
Completes required fits and clearances and documentation.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline
Qualifications We Prefer:
Ability to wear and utilize respiratory protection
Basic communication and computer skills
Ability to make accurate measurements and remain within tolerances
Ability to read and understand manuals, procedures, diagrams and blueprints
Ability to work as part of a team
Ability to complete all training to obtain Valve Shop Certifications
Strong attention to detail and organized
