Role Summary As the Staff Mechanical Design Engineer, you will have a critical design role that includes modeling, release, and integration of assemblies within Power Electronics sub-systems. Specifically, you will be responsible for solid modeling design that includes plastic injection moldings, die-castings, and sheet metal components. You will work with cross-functional teams such as Vehicle Architecture, Manufacturing, and Electrical Engineering to design components per requirements and work collaboratively with suppliers to ensure high-volume production. Responsibilities Model solid components and assemblies in Power Electronics and Battery Enclosure packaging using CATIA V6 Design enclosures and mechanical assemblies for Power Electronics that meet thermal, environmental, and EMC requirements Create 2D prints of all the components by applying geometric…
