General Summary:
Test Development (TD) Senior Engineer:
The Senior Test Development Engineer is responsible for pre-silicon and post-silicon validation and production test development of Qualcomm IPs, ensuring readiness for new product introduction and high-volume manufacturing.
This role requires strong hardware and software expertise, hands-on ATE experience, and advanced debugging and analytical skills. The engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams including Analog, Digital, Firmware/Software, DFT, Validation (VI), and Systems Engineering to define and execute efficient and high-quality test solutions.
Focus areas include Audio, Power Management Units (PMU), charger, radio, auxiliary system functions and digital. The role expects independent technical ownership and execution with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
· Own and deliver production test development for analog and digital IPs across validation and manufacturing.
· Contribute to test requirements capture, test planning, and program-level technical reviews.
· Design, develop, and support hardware and software test systems on Automatic Test Equipment (UltraFlex ATE).
· Develop automation and data analysis solutions to improve test coverage, yield, quality, and test time.
· Participate in pre-silicon emulation and post-silicon bring-up, validation, and compliance testing.
· Debug complex test and hardware issues, including root-cause analysis and defect investigation.
