General Summary:
Qualcomm is seeking to hire an entry-level attorney responsible for automotive contract lifecycles, from drafting and negotiation through execution and ongoing management. This role will report to a senior automotive legal attorney and is critical in helping to promote compliance, minimize risk, and support business objectives through effective contract management and team engagement.
Minimum Qualifications:
• Juris Doctorate degree or international equivalent.
• Active bar license to practice law in the state or jurisdiction where the employee will be practicing (or ability to obtain upon hiring).
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Draft, review, and negotiate complex automotive and commercial contracts, including amendments and related agreements, ensuring accuracy and alignment with business objectives.
* Oversee and manage contract lifecycles to ensure compliance and fulfillment by all parties, proactively identifying and addressing issues to avoid disputes or delays.
* Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Help advise internal stakeholders on contractual rights, obligations, and risks, ensuring alignment with company policies and strategic objectives.
* Analyze, interpret, and resolve complex contractual issues, providing clear, actionable recommendations.
* Participate in discussions and negotiations with customers, vendors, and partners; effectively communicating with team members.
